Khmer Rouge survivors struggle to find care as they age
Fifty years after the Khmer Rouge took power, the survivors who testified to secure genocide convictions are ageing and losing access to what little mental health care existed. Many stopped seeking help years ago – now even those minimal programmes are ending.
