Shwe Paw Mya Tin is a freelance photojournalist from Myanmar. She's made a name for herself as one of the few female photojournalists in the country. Her work has been featured in top international outlets like AFP, Reuters, and The Guardian. Currently living in Chiang Mai, Thailand, she focuses on capturing the war in Myanmar, and the lives of the country's exiled community. She also uses her photography to highlight women's issues, conflicts and other social problems.
